Stoltenberg Future Fund Scholarship Awarded to IT Director of Caldwell UNC Health Care
PITTSBURGH, PA – October 13, 2015 /Marketwired/ — Stoltenberg Consulting Inc., a leading healthcare IT consulting firm, announced today that Dan Thelen, IT director and CIO of Caldwell UNC Health Care in Lenoir, North Carolina, is the recipient of a $2,000 Stoltenberg Future Fund Scholarship. The scholarship is applied toward secondary education earned at the annual College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) CIO Forum.
This scholarship is the seventh awarded by the Stoltenberg Future Fund program since its inception in 2009. Stoltenberg has pledged a total of $50,000 to the CHIME Education Foundation over a span of 25 years.

The Stoltenberg Future Fund Scholarship awards scholarships annually to the CHIME Education Foundation to be used for any of CHIME’s educational events, including its Healthcare CIO Boot Camp, Fall CIO Forum, CHIME/HIMSS CIO Forum and LEAD Forums. To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must be CHIME members in good standing, express need for financial support for continuing education and describe their professional goals in the healthcare IT industry.
