Foster Offers Amendment on Patient Identifier

Listen to Rep. Bill Foster offer the amendment on Patient Identifiers. Yesterday evening the House passed this amendment that removes a prohibition on funding for a national patient identifier. Our members have seen that prohibition as a barrier to interoperability and a risk to patient safety.
