True Leaders Don’t Just Talk—They DO
Talking about health IT challenges is simply not enough. True digital health leaders must assess their current state – and then evolve plans that optimize and innovate for the future. First, you must assess the system to ensure it’s not effective or getting the needed results. You must determine whether the system is worth revamping or whether it should be replaced. If fixable, you must come up with a plan with actionable steps to enhance the inefficient system. Either way, you must take action to begin the transformation process. That’s the only way to bring about useful change to digital health.
Talking Has Its Place—But Action Is Required for Transformation
Talking, planning and developing a vision are important steps on the path toward transformation. True leaders, however, go beyond talking and planning and dive into the scary realm of DOING. Taking action enables their organizations to achieve real-world results.
CHIME Is the Place Where Doers Get More Done
For thirty years, CHIME has created a space where digital health leaders come together to talk and plan so they can go out and do. But CHIME does more than enable conversations.
- Through our Public Policy team and Policy Steering Committee, CHIME advocates for policy changes to bring improvements to the entire healthcare landscape.
- CHIME University provides thoughtfully designed educational courses to ensure that leaders have the skills and knowledge needed to take the right actions to enhance their organizations, expand patient care, and improve processes in the digital health environment.
- CHIME works hand-in-hand with Members to develop life-saving initiatives, such as the Opioid Task Force.
- CHIME offers compelling industry events that bring digital health leaders together to develop a network of strong peer-to-peer relationships and collaborate with other industry partners whose digital transformation visions align.
Together, We Can DO More
One person can change the world, but that doesn’t mean they have to change the world alone. Together, we can do more to bring about the digital health ecosystem we all dream of. CHIME is grateful to the leaders who have been taking action for thirty years, and we are eager to help the next generation of digital health leaders in their efforts to improve health and care for another 30 years and beyond!
Next week’s Theme is NETWORKING. If you would like to participate in CHIME’s 30th Anniversary Celebration, submit your blog post, story, or article today! Email submissions to Katie at [email protected].
