Voting is open for choosing the next 3 board members: The CHIME Board of Trustees will be filling three open positions with terms beginning in January 2020. Members can choose from six candidates who reflect the broad diversity and interests of the membership. Voting will remain open through Sept. 30. Learn more here. 

CHIME VP to speak on a telemedicine panel: Leslie Krigstein, CHIME’s vice president of congressional affairs, will join a virtual panel of thought leaders at 1 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, Oct. 1, for a HealthcareNow Radio podcast on telemedicine. They will discuss legislation, reimbursement policies, barriers and the future of telemedicine. Register here.

Deadline for CIO of the Year Award Nominations is Sept. 23: The deadline for submitting a colleague or yourself for the CHIME-HIMSS John E. Gall Jr. CIO of the Year Award is Sept. 23. Nominations are being accepted here.
